Interested in assisting our non-denominational congregation? Growing in ministry leadership? Want to serve in an idyllic, lake-side, tourist destination?  The ideal candidate would be:

+ Born-again Christian, with a growing faith in Jesus Christ. Exhibit Christian character in daily life and while serving in ministry.

+ A capable instrumentalist (piano, guitar, keys, etc) and vocalist, able to organize and confidently conduct contemporary worship, to function as “lead worshipper” so to speak.

+ Have working knowledge of contemporary worship songs and relevant styles.

+ Work with Pastor and Music Director on Order of Service for Contemporary Worship.

+ Assist volunteer vocalists in the growth of abilities.

+Be a team player and work well with others.

This position can also be a combo role, depending on the skills and desire of the candidate, as there are other roles to be supplied here at Monticello Christian church.  (Love working with youth? Handy with maintenance duties? Proficient with computers and production software?)

This position is not intended to be a “catch-all” role, where “other duties as assigned” means hard work for a pittance. The right candidate would come on board and be seen and embraced as a part of our church family (even if they hold membership at another church).

A stipend and mileage will be offered, commensurate with education and experience, and will depend on the size and responsibility of the role. We are seeking a longer-term candidate who loves what they do, so in addition to the above compensation, the candidate will also receive 1 (one) 2022 season pass to Indiana Beach Amusement Park, following a satisfactory probationary period.
